What an incredible day to enjoy an afternoon of window bliss,
one window at a time.
I discovered windows one afternoon and after that,
nothing was ever the same.

Don't waste a minute not being happy. If one window closes,
run to the next window, or break down a door.

I spy a snowman!
If the house of the world is dark,
love will find a way to create windows.

Need a ride?
O, winter evening you happened in
just as my stroll
drew near an end
through your deserted town.

What a pleasure it was
free from having
to bundle up heavily against the cold.
Especially when they say
a blizzard is on the way.
Maybe.

Stop the words now
open the window in the center of your chest
and let the spirits fly in and out.

Hello, cute kiddies in the window. I love all the window displays, the elephant painting is my favorite. Happy Monday, enjoy your new week!
A nice combination of pictures and words. It made me think about different aspects of windows, and actually made me think of the 17th century hymn, with a line I always liked,
"A man that looks on glass,
On it may stay his eye;
Or if he pleaseth, through it pass,
And then the heav'n espy."
But wow, it looks cold where you are! :)
Hello Jenny great to hear from you again! Yesterday we had a heat wave, about 42 but today it's 21 with flurries and freezing rain, so perhaps the scheduled blizzard has lessened! That would be wonderful.
Everything's simply awesome...from Rumi's quote to the reflections & seeing the world pass by thru windows
That was a really delightful wander around!
Thanks for the nice walk, Karen! You must take advantage of warmer days at this time of year!
i enjoy window shopping to see how store owners decorate their windows, especially during the holidays!!!
the weather has been a bit wacky this winter, here at the jersey shore too. it's suppose to be 71 on wednesday!!!
Lovely post Karen.
Always such a pleasure Karen, I love the way you look at the world and yes I remember your merman 😊
there was a vinegar and olive oil shop in South Harbor, Michigan, which I enjoyed shopping at. Great photos and quotes, as always.
Thank You for your healing ministry, Karen
