Critters on Saturday and Gallery Stuff

Welcome to another

Photos Bugsey and Emme from their recent stay at my house.

"No one will understand you. It is not, ultimately that important. What is important is that you understand you." Matt Haig

"You can't find happiness looking for the meaning of life.
Meaning is only the third most important thing. It comes after loving and being."
Matt Haig

Some live, some ceramic, one made of metal but all in good humor, please enjoy.
I'm posting to City Daily Photo too.

"Don't aim for perfection evolution and life only happen through mistakes."

"The wise bunny knows the carrot will not hop to him."

"You are lucky to be alive. Inhale and take in life's wonders. Never take so much as a single petal of a flower for granted." Matt Haig

Rusty didn't seem to mind that his boy

put this hot, woolly sweater on him.

"Come, sit with me now. We'll gaze at the falling sun as it grazes this horizon for, I want to talk about simple nothings and silent stirrings, and wild things with someone who means everything." Victoria Erickson from Edge of Wonder: Notes from the Wildness of Being.

"Sometimes the one thing you need for growth is the one thing you are afraid to do."

"People are their most beautiful when they are laughing, crying, dancing, playing, telling the truth and being chased in a fun way."

Amy Poehler

Sometimes the only way to learn is to live.

"To be fully alive, fully human, and completely awake is to be continually thrown out of the nest."

Pema Chodron

The most difficult times for many of us are the ones we give ourselves.

Pema Chodron

Lighten up, don't-over-think-things.

"Half of me is filled with bursting words and half of me is painfully shy. I crave solitude yet also crave people.

I want to pour life and love into everything yet also nurture my self-care and go gently. I want to live within the rush of primal, intuitive decision, yet also wish to sit and contemplate.

I see no evil.

This is the messiness of life - that we all carry multitudes, so must sit with the shifts. We are complicated creatures, and ultimately, the balance comes from this understanding.

Be water. Flowing, flexible and soft. Subtly powerful and open. Wild and serene. Able to accept all changes, yet still led by the pull of steady tides. It is enough.

Victoria Erickson

 Four things come not back:

the spoken word, the sped arrow

the past life and the neglected opportunity.

Aiki Flinthart

"Those who hear not the music think the dancers mad."

Aiki Flinthart

"But why be normal when you're better being you?"

Matt Haig

Cute dogs, frogs, rabbits, etc. That rabbit looked so fluffy and adorable. We have rabbits in our hayfield, but try to keep them out of the garden and hope they move own before the first cutting.
