Critters and Luxury

 Welcome to

SATURDAY'S CRITTERS

and our City Daily Photo theme post for December.

Our theme this month is

LUXURY

Beginning from my visit through Tinsel Trail in downtown Huntsville, Alabama this tree decoration reminded me of my son's dog Bugsley!

All photos are from my recent trip to Alabama to spend Thanksgiving with my daughter and her family.

What a luxury it was too!

Hello from Cierra and Lyra, we were at one of my favorite places, Lowe Mill Arts and Entertainment that offers a luxurious wander through the works of local artists.

I gave much thought to our luxury theme and the deeper I thought I knew luxury to me is time and especially time spent with loved ones, which definitely includes critters and friends, and not just things.

Please meet Sparkle, we just finished decorating my daughter's Christmas tree.

All their bases covered.

Artemis by the door and Athena at the bottom of the stairs dividing their time while their daddy was putting up the outdoor lights and we were up the stairs decorating the tree!

Athena hanging out while all the Thanksgiving preparations were happening.

Time well spent hoping she could also catch a treat or two!

Live luxuriously, and sometimes that might be outdoors in an empty space while deep thought, or just hanging with family.

Meet Miss Lou-Lou she's such a sweetheart always willing to be cuddled.

Afterall only you can determine what luxury means to you.

Tug of war with a new toy I brought them.

I had to stop coloring with my granddaughter to take time for a quick photo of Sparkle, she's my "I'll always pose for you photo-kitty.

Caught Sparkle in stealth mode thinking she could hop inside the box of decorations!

"So much space, such silence, so much time. To drift. To think. To let your mind roam anywhere it pleases. To dream. Perhaps the true luxury of our age is not the piles of goods we endlessly accumulate, but Time." Ferenc Mate'

We have fire and water, will and desire and even though the rain is falling we're going to complete this Tinsel Trail delight no matter what!

A couple more photos from our time spent so wonderfully together walking Huntsville's Tinsel Trail.

and I give thanks to every single individual that uses their imagination, from days long ago into the future who create their artworks and that they share them with everyone that seeks them.

This year they had over 350 trees to brighten up and boost all of our holiday spirits.

One of my traveling Gnomes says "Hello to you all" while he's sharing time upon my dashboard in search of Christmas throughout our city, together.

Thanks for sharing this time with me and know your comments are very much appreciated.

Take good care.

This is really lovely. I couldn't help thinking that you created this family and it bears your stamp.
The animals are very sweet. No greater praise from them than tug of war with the gift you brought! Enjoyed this very much. Hugs!

Looks like a fun time spent with your family during the Thanksgiving week.
The critters are all so cute, I love all their adorable photos. The Tinsel Trail looks beautiful. Great take on the Luxury theme.

It looks like you had a great time spoiling the pets down south, and I'm sure it was warmer than what you'd experienced in MN

You are right about the weather our stroll through Tinsel Trail gifted us with a light rain which in Minnesota would have been snow!
