Exploring different cities even for a second time offers a deeper look into the city. Tasting their foods and dipping into their cultures is always an exciting adventure for me, discovering new things and tastes.

One of my most favorite things to do, not just here in Charleston, but also Savannah, Georgia are the quaint, mostly private and yet so many visible secret little gardens, pathways and alleyways to those roaming by. Of course there is a private garden tour I have yet to take, so I know I'll need to return again sometime.

Not only are new miracles blooming everywhere you go, but there are also amazing vehicles and sometimes odd, (a town of makeshift vehicles and golf carts all around.

We took a most delightful Pirate Ghost Tour and we each received a genuine shark tooth even!

Glad you had a good trip to the Low County. I used to love Charleston, but when I lived on Skidaway Island found I loved Savannah even more. I recently read and reviewed "Hurricane Jim Crow" which is about the Gullah culture and how the terrible storms of the late 19th Century impacted their lives and culture. It's a bit academic, but was insightful

We took a tour of Charleston on our way to Panama, Central America. Quite amazing. If only I had been able to go back a second time - that would have been perfect. Glad you enjoyed your trip, and all the photos are wonderful.
