County Fair Critters

Welcome to a wild and wonderful world of critters at the Scott County Fair yesterday. It was my first time going to their county fair, and it didn't disappoint although it's a wee bit different than the Dakota County Fair where I live. Showing up to see how folks share bits and pieces of their community are well worth seeing it all!

If you do what you can with what you have you will always be successful.

Best part of every fair around our parts is a K-9 Demonstration from the Sheriff's Department and this one is the best I've ever seen by one special K-9 Deputy Floyd who was born 8 years ago in the Netherlands, and he knows English and Flemish! 

In training for catching that "Bad guy" they're taught

 to always go for the right arm.

If you're wondering he does go home with his handler, and has his own kennel in the backyard, heated but only fan cooled. However, it's his place, he loves it, and waits for his command to go out in his romping area! The family has little dogs that live inside the house and Floyd is good with that!

 Especially when you're parked within a sea of vehicles!

Yesterday was a fully loaded and packed heavy day with vehicle shows, firetruck shows, parades, 150 Year Celebration for the Farmington Fire Department and Lakeville's one and only Pan-O-Prog celebration. 

(This was quite possibly one of their biggest turnouts ever!)

Some critters today are icons!

Of course, some live animals!

Car shows means metal critters for our delight too!

Wouldn't be fair to leave out cookie critters walking the parade!

Eeyore is and has been one of my favorites!

I'm a firm believer in more than one dog in a family. They need a buddy/partner.

Of course, they were barking in pure enjoyment!

Come Take a Safari with Critters

The best thing to do, especially during our horrible air quality is exactly what adventure we took on this particular day being extremely high with an index of 166, we opted for an inside tour of a fantastically fun inside safari!
