Very Small

Our May theme for City Daily Photo is

Very small.

Seems there was a Lion roaming the streets

 of Jordon, Minnesota today!

"The Lion never fears to walk alone."

Lailah Gifty Akita

Can you spot the lion?

"A lion doesn't concern itself with the opinion of sheep."

George R.R. Marten

"If you take care of the small things, the big things take care of themselves."

Emily Dickinson

Love the lion - who is undoubtedly a giant in his own eyes.

The lion does look tiny. I love the Emily Dickinson quote!
Take care, have a great day and happy week ahead.

What a fun post! That little lion really made me smile—such a bold presence despite its size. Loved the quotes too, especially the Emily Dickinson one. It ties everything together so perfectly. Wishing you a joyful week ahead!

Most definitely he is the grandest of all giants, in his own eyes! Or hers.

Absolutely and now I'll have that song playing sweeting in my mind!

Thank you I know I am a bit on the later side but the theme was something that inspired me!

He is quite tiny, and shiny and he comes with a sweet inspiring quote too!

Thank you, I thought that quote went well too, happy to read others thought so too. Enjoy your week ahead too!

Did you visit Emma Krumbees while down that way?

I wish, EK closed in late 2023, after 43 years the owner retired and sold it. I have great memories anyway but supposedly it's going to be a new home for the Belle Plaine PD. although they're still wondering what to do with all the apples! Sustainable Safari is a fun place in the Maplewood Mall, and now they've opened one in Burnsville Center too. You can even hold a baby alligator there!

I have been past that safari....but it was closed. I have not been to Burnsville in years.
