City Daily Photo November Theme is Breakfast

Our subject for City Daily Photo is breakfast as our theme for November.

"Everyone runs around trying to find a place where they still serve breakfast because eating breakfast, even if it's 5 o'clock in the afternoon, is a sign that the day has just begun and good things can still happen."

Jonathan Goldstein quotes

What, you've never had soup for breakfast? My idea of food is often upside down. I'll enjoy breakfast during dinner hours and soup anytime of the day!

Can you guess which shade of white this is?
Did you know white is the lightest color? It is achromatic, meaning without hue, and stands opposite of black.

The Better Half Restaurant in Lakeville, is one of my ultimate favorite breakfast places and I always order their Avocado Toast pictured here.

Did you know eating breakfast while standing up in the living room is the best time ever?!

Enjoy your Sunday and maybe breakfast for dinner tonight.

I love breakfast for dinner and soups (and I have a big stockpile of winter squash that'll mostly end up in soup, in addition to 18 quarts of tomato soup I made this summer).

Breakfast is so versatile it can work for any time of the day but I have never had soup for breakfast. It does look good.

Funny thing speaking of squash my daughter has a lot of butternut squash that will end up in soup too, and tonight her menu is scalloped butternut squash with a cranberry meatloaf and mushroom gravy! If she didn't live in Alabama, I'd say yes please I'll be there soon!

Yes, many folks enjoy their favorite breakfast foods.

I know, my daughter was just visiting here and she's still a fan of going straight to soup first thing!

I haven’t had soup for breakfast since I was expecting my daughter, and that was many years ago. It was so soothing though.

Thanks for sharing....I will eat anything for breakfast as long as its quick to prepare unless I have little to do that day....great pictures of family members. Alabama is a pretty state, as they all are. Do not know what shade of white that is. Nice arrangement!

Most soups are very soothing! Especially if you're feeling under the weather or have the blues!

That's funny I have no idea what shade of white it was either I used that photo for a photography post and it was a play on the book 7 Shades of Grey! As for breakfast most people say it's the most important meal of the day.... well? Maybe. Enjoy your weekend. This was my weekend to work but that's okay working every other weekend gives me a day off during the week! Extremely important!

I work every weekend, nights, unless I have something to attend. That gives me 5 days to do whatever I want with no weekend crowds to contend with. Enjoy the cool (cold) crisp air with the sound a d smell of rustling leaves everywhere. Thanks for your inspiring posts.
