Still missing my Misty girl.
Sixteen years of life was still too short.
Wisdom comes from winter.
When outside Misty would always be by your side.

Beautiful frozen falls. Lovely dogs. Miss my little one, we lost a year ago, every day.
Such a treasure trove of words and pics this post was, Karen.
Hello,
I love Artemis and Athena. I am sorry for the loss of your sweet Misty. The giraffe and the kitty are adorable! Great quotes and inspiring words. The Tetons are one of my favorite parks to visit.
Enjoy the snow sculptures and have fun! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
Beautiful scenery, adorable critters, and wise words!
Artemis and Athena are just precious!
Happy Sunday, Karen!
Thanks for stopping by and for your comments. The falls are really pretty when it's flowing too. I wish our pets had a longer life span indeed. Enjoy your week I hope it's not too cold where you are.
Thank you! Enjoy the rest of your weekend and stay warm!
Thanks for stopping by Eileen and for your nice comments. I'm happy I made it to Stillwater I have a few hours of common sense and normalcy while the turmoil heightened more in Minneapolis with ICE agents and yet another murder on our streets. Very sad times.
Thank you for your nice comments and for stopping by. A most happy Sunday for you too and stay warm!
Loved this post. Beautiful critters and those icy scenes are stunning. Your photos and quotes pair so well together.
Thank you so much, it means a lot coming from a fellow blogger who takes incredible photos or your world. It's so nice to see beautiful things exist, as at times the world around us is a bit on the bleak side.
Beautiful post! Just what I needed on this cold morning.
I love Winter, nature and animals and your photos are absolutely gorgeous and captivating. Thank you for sharing, and warm greetings from Montreal, Canada ❤️ 😊 🇨🇦
Enjoyed you posts very much...impressed by all the research you put into them. I hope you got to see the bison in Minneopa. I relate to your experiences with pets, sliding and National parks. I visited a plantation just outside Charleston in October, sad how some of the slavery history was being erased .Also sad the MLK museum closing. Great civil war history in the south .
I got to Stillwater just a bit late, the snow covered much detail.
I especially liked you " me to you " post . Enjoy the cold, it has its own charm.
I always enjoy looking through your photos and sayings.
So many wonderful quotes and photos. Your dogs are beautiful.
Some big waterfalls there. A lovely post.
Enjoyed the snow sculptures on Saturday, bith day and evening and the bonfires to warm up as well as stores and restaurants. Have you heard Bruce Springsteen's song yet, The Streets of Minneapolis he wrote especially over our tragic ICE thugs and murder of Renee and Alex? If not, you must check it out. Stay warm and Minnesota Strong!
Yes, we do, and others as well. Are you from Minnesota?
Thank you so much and for stopping by! Take care!
i love seeing snow sculptures. we didn't get as much snow as we thought we would. i enjoyed the quotes and the critters you shared. "in every walk with nature, one receives far more than he seeks." sooooo true!!
Thanks Debbie, snow sculptures are one of my favorites, sand sculptures too, but like Frosty the Snowman their life expectancy is way too short unless captured by photos. Maybe that's what makes them so special that their days are numbered.
I have heard it and copied the lyrics. Amazing how specific he was . Happy February, some very descent winter weather ahead.
I especially like the Muir and MLK quotes and always enjoy seeing photos of your puppies.
This is such a beautiful collection of photos and I am totally obsessed with those giraffe pictures and the sweet memory of your misty girl but I have to know: are you really going to see the snow sculptures in this freezing weather because that sounds so brave lol have a wonderful and happy weekend and I actually just shared a new travel post that you are invited to read at www.melodyjacob.com
Hi Melody and yes I actually did brave the cold, although in this sweet little river town, there are places along the snow sculptures to warm up and enjoy what they have to offer. My post today shares the snow sculptures, and I hope you check them out. I'm going to check out your melodyjacob.com too! Enjoy your day out there!
