It was a most delightful June of family milestones and one of those special celebrations was sharing my granddaughter Lyra's birthday. A treat we don't always get to enjoy with her home in Alabama.

a really awesome group of pictures and quotes today!! your?? puppy looks so happy to be in that swing, it looks like she is having a grand time!! it has been very hot and humid here, i have not been out too much. but during the rides we take in the car, i always manage to find something worth photographing and sharing!! and yes, four legged friends are best. congrats to the happy couple on that grand achievement!! i enjoyed seeing the family!!

Thought provoking quotes and photos. 17 years seems like not just the beginning ....especially when a person is in their 70s. Balance is a beautiful thing.....sometimes its hard to achieve.

It is an amazing city, I enjoyed living 11 years there, and discovering all the wonderful things it has to offer, and although I only live 25 miles from my old house, it's easy to travel back to my favorite haunts! All of Minnesota has so much to offer, it's a great place to be, so many places and wonders!
Thank you Debbie, it was a memorable month for us all, and the bonfire is one of my most favorite things to do, alone or with others. And did I mention delicious perfectly roasted marshmallows? Oh so delightful. Take care of you and stay cool and Debbie keep taking your incredible photos.

Thank you, Pat, I feel the same seeing your photos, I feel like I'm really getting to know Canada so much more! Growing up in Michigan we often took a trip to Canada, and it was always a treat for me! I thought it was funny how when we crossed the border, we needed to bring papers for our dog and my mother, proof of her American Citizenship, since she was born in Germany. Yes, you are so right on so many levels! I do enjoy the blistering heat I mean you can always run for air-conditioning right? I'm still the one who enjoys a hot cup of coffee no matter what the temperature is too. Funny maybe but so delicious. You are spot on about the rain it can be so refreshing and often brings back camping memories.
