Welcome to my post for
and I'm posting City Daily Photo
"Clydesdales are majestic giants from the Isle of Clyde in Scottland, symbolic to our business environment: our associates pull together as a team, creating a much greater strength than working alone."
Bob Funk
A question came to mind standing there (way early of course) for 3 semis to arrive after gathering the low down of their entrance and how things were planned to ensure a perfect viewing advantage, I thought what's in it for this major company to put such an expense of manpower and machines together just to present these world-renowned horses to the public? Lakeville wasn't their only stop, they had 2 other presentations for this trip, and today, Sunday they would be at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, Minnesota. Isn't it wonderful that they travel across the country with these lovely, majestic animals just for us?
This quote sums up their reasoning, I think.
"Winsten Churchill was correct when he said, "We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give." Charity has enormous and impactful influences in a person's life. Giving isn't only about what it does for others; it is also about what it does for us."
"Horses make a landscape look beautiful." Alice Walker
and make for great Budweiser commercials.
Groomed for greatness.
2 semis each carrying 4 Clydesdales horses and the last semi carried their harnesses, equipment, the delivery carriage and miscellaneous necessities.
Here comes the beer delivery carriage!
Sometimes it's about a whole lot of simple manpower.
Calm cool and collected they knew what was expected.
All the while they were bringing out each horse and harnessing them before attaching them to the hitches the announcer explained everything that involves these horses, and the employees involved today and she introduced each horse by their name, size and a little about them.
While early ads and behind-the-scenes content emphasized all the training, care and dedication that make Clydesdales so camera-ready, reinforcing the message that, they are a symbol of quality and commitment. You can also see it in all the employees putting this together right before our eager eyes.
Thank you for sharing time here and your comments.
Stay cool, enjoy every single day and take good care of you.

Interesting to see these magnificent animals and to read your musing about them. They visited Naples in 2021. I wasn't as reflective about their visit as you are.
How magnificent and delightful. I love ❤️ the Budweiser commercials with these beautiful, majestic horses. I absolutely love your photos. Thank you so much for sharing. 😊
Love those horses!
Great post.
I love the Winston Churchill quote you shared. It really is wonderful that they bring these beautiful animals out for the community to enjoy. Your photos perfectly capture their grace and the hard work of the crew!
Hello Karen
The Clydesdale horses are so big and beautiful. They do make wonderful commercials. I like the cute dalmatian dog too. Great Churchill quote! The Alice Walker quote is so true, horses do make the landscapes look beautiful. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great day and a happy week ahead! PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
They are... beautiful! Impressive. Gentle. My parents allowed me to learn to ride horses - not my own of course. I am small and got the ponies mostly but once!!!! He was black, tall - name (for a reason) Alexander. So handsome!!! It didn´t go well but he was a sweetie even after I kept falling into his back! A snuggly guy! Thank you for the memory (I was 14- am 44 now).
Hehe, 54, OMG!!! Time runs! I feel like a kiddo. ... a bit.
This is a wonderful post, Karen. They are such noble beasts.
Thanks for the post. I bet the story about them is very interesting. Amazing animals. ..I have to wonder if the people working with them wear steel toed shows. 😊

Beautiful photos. Very majestic when groomed and harnessed up. My mom worked around draft horses, when growing up on farms with grains. We heard many stories in our childhood about all her experiences and love for the big horses.
They are some beautiful animals. I don't drink beer very often, but a cold bottle of Bud on a hot day after working outside can be a treat.
Those horses are beautiful.
How beautiful those horses!
Oh my! They look so perfect!
Charlie appreciates your comments about him.
i have seen these beautiful horses several times in the shore area. they are spectacular, your pictures are really nice, highlighting their real beauty!!
This giant horses are well known. We have a great beer tradition in Munich, where the cold-blooded horses used to pull the heavy beer carts. They were gradually replaced by lorries. But once a year, at the Oktoberfest, these horses are brought back into service. We are very proud of them.
Greetings by Heidrun
It does seem they make the rounds and usually like their trip to Minnesota they had 3 engagement showings before they went back home. Can you tell by my posts that animals are everything to me?!
