Besides Oliver Karina was the sweetest mouse ever in
Cinderella 

My daughter could only spend a little over a week with us
while Lyra gets to spend the entire month with visits to see two other grandmas. 
It's wonderful to be blessed with family.

Bringing It Together

and 
Always do your part. 
You just never know when your compassion and empathy
is extremely vital.
On the ending of a wonderful family day and incredible 70 something degree sunny day we walked to a nearby park where I encountered a blown-out-of-proportion situation.  Apparently 3 twenty-something individuals felt the need to call law enforcement to remove this extremely dangerous dog from the park.
The officer seemed to agree, but if you know me at all I immediately came to this poor pups aid and clearly his loving nature prevailed. Yes! First I know that owners must be responsible, I don't care how old your beloved pet is and that he knows his way home, and loves visiting folks at the park, go there with him. We brought ours on a leash. Our world has far too many, so they believe to be well-doers doing their job- they totally lack knowledge, understanding-empathy. 

So just how scary is this cute, (on actual sight he walks very slowly) ?

Follow the Gnome

I slowly began to roam 

across the open field

feeling as if an invisible dragon had crossed this way

when out of the pond a watery foam

should appear 

yet, not a Gnome this way.

Knowing any comparisons for a Gnome 

are most inadequate without a poem

It bears repeating that this hug buddy isn't a Gnome

either, I swear.

But where?

Beneath the stars?

Finally, just out of the darkness with shimmering eyes a Gnome

like magic shining in the moonlight

out from under an unbelievable full moon-

should appear

(not a miniature sleigh and eight tiny reindeer)

but yes, a wee little guy (they call gnome)

weaving his kindness and intelligence 

and a wee bit of shenanigans
our way.

and not to forget the characteristic of any Gnome

is like the driving force of the family dog (or cat)

in every home

each possessing their own powerful strength 

with a lovable tone

and superior capacity with a dome

of compassion and wit no matter where they roam.

and so it goes

they're most often lost incognito by way of their secretive 

offerings of happiness and vividly suggestive imaginations.

In places where only the Gnome

and the moon knows.
