I had a very interesting conversation with a friend about free will vs predestination this week. That analogy with the cards would've worked quite nicely for what I was trying to explain!

Very clever 6 words and being a 'quote lover' I enjoyed the quotes in relation to your words.
Your words remind me of the song "The Gambler" by Kenny Rogers. I think the lyrics go something like. You've got to know when to hold them, know when to fold them. Know when to walk away and know when to run.
Thats life in a nutshell isn't it?
