....and we are live from the chilly side of the lake, where diving is nearly impossible, without a severe headache!
If only! Really this is being staged for Miss (had a horrible-tooth issue Jenny) at Saturday Centus, "Off on my tangent" blog (So sorry hope you're all better SOON) and in her distress, she offers a photo of a chair, "to use or not to use" but her prompt is a must, "The chair dominated the small room" and up to 100 words with it...and more photos if we desire.
Are you game?
From the Capital in St Paul, Minnesota......"The chair dominated the small room....."
At the end of the meeting there were sullen faces and no more coffee.
But who really cares what a silly chairperson has to say?
They can try to pass silly laws......
It's not size or who a person is that really matters.
It's about who we are, inside.
.....and how we make the most of what we've got that truly matters!
WE CAN DO ANYTHING
So how about playing along with us? If you want to share your own Centus or just read more

Interesting take on the prompt...ah, yes, some chairpersons think their chair is quite larger than the rest in the room!
Some days I definitely do not think~we can do anything~so thanks for this...I'll go with that mind-set today. ~Mary
Love your unique interpretation of the prompt. Good job!
=)
OMG! How clever is THIS take on the prompt??? I never would have come up with something like this. You are one in a million, Karen! Only you could come up with this sneaky definition! Smarty!!!
Great old picture.
Greetings,
Filip
Excellent, creative take on the prompt!
Sometimes one who claims to speak for the good of all doesn't really think of others. Neat old pic!~Ames
Now there's unique take on the prompt. Nicely done.
You've given us a great mix of humor, creativity and inspiration. Fantastic job, Karen. The picture is wonderful, too.

"it's about who we are inside" amen to that sister. Amazing picture, I wish sometimes that I could go back and hang out in some of those old pictures, just for a minute though. Great job!
Very clever and I love how you used the photos with it.
Yeah...I've known some of those chairs! Nice twist!
Love your chair photo and story! I'm going to try to come up with something of my own, if I find some time today.
I really need to get back to doing these Saturday Centus with Jenny. I forgot how much I miss them. Great write Karen.
So Im tagging you in a post that is going up by tomorrow at the very latest. and would love for you to come and join in on the fun.
Blessings
Ha! I didn't think of chair that way. You are so clever!
Your centus was spot on, thought provoking without being preachy.
They say its the idle ones who come up with silly laws to entertain themselves. Loved this, I am gonna use it for my writing since I don't follow formal advice.
Very inspirational. Nice take on the prompt.
I love this one. And I love the photos as well. Makes me want to go fight city hall..or go swimming!
I love this and the photos are great. Makes me want to go fight city hall...or go swimming.
Unusual and quick-witted interpretation of this prompt! You have really been thinking outside of the box!
Anna
Anna, thanks....I have a lot of fun with the Saturday centus prompts!
This was incredible!
I love what you did here! Really, really love it!
That picture totally made the writing come to life.
And it's odd, perhaps, but I could hear a voice reading this outloud in my head!
I wonder if it would really sound like you if I heard you in person!
Awesome link!
Jenny thanks! I had to come back and read this post all over again...it's like so past 40 seconds ago! ha ha! Hope you're catching up on all that reading! ;)
