It's not time to reach for your camera just yet.
Not every tree has made the great change over yet!Greetings from our last weekend of summer here in Minnesota. This year's ending for summer possesses a determined touch of magic that may not deter autumn, but offers instead, a quarrelsome nature. Hoping to reassure all, it'll be back in full swing sooner than we know.

cool stuff! the frog fence is neat! enjoy autumn while you've got it!
It looks as though your part of MN is much like our part of Michigan right now. I'm glad -- it seems summer was so short, I'm not in a hurry for beautiful fall!
Perhaps these are summer's last words for this year, but I find them rather refreshing don't you?
Love those lakes.

Two thoughts
1. This Floridian never thought about winter roaring. It is rather tame down this way
2. the photo on the rails reminded me, oddly as a kid putting a nickle on the tracks and then worrying it might derail the train. Those minutes waiting to pick up that flattened piece of medal was horrible.
Cheers
Great photos Karen, I loved the one of the little boy and the frog gate, but every one was lovely!
While it's a tad sad to leave summer behind, every season has its beauty and fun. :))
I like your choices. Beautiful.
I am not ready for fall or winter. Still working on summer's jobs.
Your creativity purely tickles me and has become a wonderful theme in the symphony of my days, K!

Alas, leaf-peepers wreck a lot of havoc around here, and they appear to be on the protected species list. 'Tis an outrage, I say!
This is lovely Karen. The perfect blend of wistful words and pretty pictures.
Too funny! I did the same thing! For old times sake I've done it recently too! :)
I totally agree! It can come really really late!
Frogs scatter. Awesome!
What a nice day to celebrate the end of summer.
Hugs,
