Six Word Saturday Love of Friendship

TO STAND THE TEST OF TIME

SIX WORD SATURDAY

"As you mature you realize healthy relationships

are more about companionship and less about labels.  Falling in love is exciting

but growing in love of friendship is what allows a relationship
to stand the test of time."
Michael Baisden

Unconditional love.

And keeping old friends close, equally as important.

"I would rather walk with a friend in the dark, than alone in the light."
- Helen Keller

Love, it's not that complicated although everyone thinks it is!! Love the quote, it's so true!! I always tell my sons, "it is better to be home alone, then to be home and wish you were alone"!! A little different but it speaks to not settling!!

I love the shape of the gingko leaf. I am sure it has a lot of symbolism attached, but I don't really know what it is! Happy Christmas to you and yours.

Wonderful words, flawlessly illustrated (I especially love that ginko!)

And thank you for the wonderful comments you have left at Marmelade Gypsy. I didn't have your email to reply personally but they meant so much.
