On a Mission in St Paul

Beginning from downtown St. Paul

Greetings from
The St. Paul Hotel
a Minnesota Landmark hotel.

Workers were busy taking down the remains of this year's ice sculptures.

"Become slower in your journey through life."
Wayne Dyer

It just might stretch our lifetime.

I see your smile!

F. Scott Fitzgerald hiding behind some pine trees.
These trees will be carried away too.
They were part of the winter decorations.

"So we beat on, boats against the current

borne back ceaselessly into the past."
F. Scott Fitzgerald

"Our intention creates our reality."
Wayne Dyer

Welcome to the icy remains of Rice Park in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Good bye for now Rice Park, I'll see you once spring arrives.

Now on to the Crocus Hill neighborhood, Summit Avenue and other streets
around my old stomping grounds for a bit of old fashion research.

Stately old mansions of stone and the people that lived there
 carry many secrets and stories.

"We all have a shadow self
that is a part of our total reality."
Deepak Chopra

Corban Manor Inn

A walk around any neighborhood,
but especially here,
is like poetry beneath my feet.

"What hurt you today
was taken out of your heart
by the meadowlark
who slipped the silver needle
of her song in and out of the grey day."

You can find the quote above written on a
sidewalk outside the Happy Gnome in St. Paul.

"Centuries of knowledge are compressed in revelatory moments."
Deepak Chopra

"We live as ripples of energy in the vast ocean of energy."
Deepak Chopra

May Peace Prevail On Earth.
Take good care of you.

It is so fun to drive along Summit Avenue! Those homes are just amazing. And the big churches - St. Luke's? and then to stop at Cafe Latte on Grand for a fruit tart and coffee. YUM! The St. Paul Hotel is gorgeous. Our daughter's wedding reception was held there. Our granddaughter's wedding was held in Landmark Center. There's so much to love about St. Paul.

Why would they have to take down the ice statues when nature does that for them. And it seems a bit premature to see an end of winter.

It'd be so neat to listen to the walls of the old mansions tell their secrets and stories!!
