I begin this week's posts about a favorite poet of mine.

Emily Dickinson

I wonder if she ever came to Minnesota in person?

Don't let talk of Minnesota being the frozen 

tundra of the United States fool you. Why?

Because we do know how to heat things up.
Just lately in fact.

See here how a Marathon in the honor of Emily Dickinson

Emily Dickinson often called the lady in white 

died on May 15th 1886, at the early age of 55.
She may have lived most of her short life
 in reclusive isolation,
but I promise reading her words
offers such empowerment.
I'm sharing a few

Okay, seeing snow you know this wasn't from this week, but it's one of our last snow falls not long ago.
 Meet Viper, a new neighbor that couldn't wait to come say hello!

Well since I brought in snow how about one of my favorite photos of this year because again it's so fitting with one of Emily's quotes.

 (I kid you not) the temperatures hit the 70's!
