Halloween Past

Our Halloween memories are many, and they don't all involve pranks and ghostly ghouls, thank goodness.

Halloween isn't just about candy, let me show you.

Another Halloween is behind us, along with our ability to once again connect to the best part of ourselves and each other. A chance to expand our imaginations beyond all possibilities.

A chance to wear our pumpkin heads and bring ourselves to the cutting edge of those complex and most startling feelings and fond memories from childhood and channel them to the person we are today.

Sure it's all about the candy for youngsters, maybe.  But from an inspiring perspective and with every costume and character we wear it becomes a gripping almost mystical connection within ourselves.

It's something that joins us, often as a team effort, or group theme as well, which we all share with the universe of Halloween enthusiasts.

We bring spirits to life, with our "Trick - or - Treat" from way back when.

Sometimes we live within the character of those we admire most, and spring to life with imaginative moments and dazzling chapters to add to our Halloween memoirs for years to come.

Every year,  I admire those that never forget their beloved pets, buying pet costumes and treats.  I'll bet even Ebenezer Scrooge would agree!

Beware the leafy trail you never know what may pass by you.

I recognize that broomstick!  Swish, swish, swisssssh.

Halloween, it's about reviving, recovering, processing and creating our best memories.  Be watchful too, you just might meet someone you never met before, and that person just might be within yourself.

Today you'll put away yesterday's costume but, open your inner self, and keep your spirit alive, today and everyday to follow.  It's what we do for ourselves.

"Art and human beings find our own perfection within, and rarely outside ourselves.
Never let yourself be judged by external standards, or the resemblance of, or other people's perspective of you either."

Remember, that one constant person that will always be with you,
is YOU!

Witches and ghosts make merry
while ghoulies and ghosties
make scary!
Double, double toil and trouble
though they all may make merry and scary
Mimes will make the invisible visible
just for you!

Thanks for stopping by and sharing a bit of your own thoughts is always a pleasure to behold. Take good care of you.

Hello, it is neat seeing the wonderful creativity on decorations and costumes for Halloween. You are a pretty mime. I am sure the candy is the best part for the kiddies, maybe the dressup part too. Wonderful post and photos. Happy November, have a happy Wednesday!

There were no Halloween guests here, this year. And you, in that last photo, was lost for words, I assume :)

It is so nice to get involved in a community event, we don't get enough of that kind of stuff in our lives. Some spooktastic creations there, too!
