A Gathering of Incidents with Critters

Welcome to
SATURDAY'S CRITTERS
a wee bit late.

Just a few thoughts billowing about my mind
 to share with you.

It's the right wish that draws us to the right place.
Nothing of importance happens
accidentally in our life.

All eyes on you in honor of Saturday's critters.

Ever wish you'd called off from work,
he thought being thrust above the audience.

"It's good to do uncomfortable things.
It's weight training for life."
Anne Lamott

Again on the importance of hand sanitizer.
and of course #MasksOn

We all have magic inside us.
Pass it on.

"The world is full of magic things
patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper."
W.B. Yeats

Where the waters do agree, it is quite wonderful
 the relief they give.
Jane Austen

To walk in nature is to witness a thousand miracles.

We're going to just sit on the dock of the bay
fishing our day away.

I've always had trouble growing Hollyhocks.

Yet this new plant of two years had lots of potential.
Had. Until trouble hit again, although I still have lots of blossoms and new buds preparing to burst with life.

So this morning I finally caught the critter
that's been dining on my Hollyhock plant.

Japanese Beetles mania.
Don't they realize,

The natural world outside is waiting.
It's a giant, open ended learning laboratory
for all who desire to know things.

"We seldom know what echo our actions will find
but our stories will most certainly outlast us."
Colum McCann

The Importance of Swimming to Shore

"Then the clouds curtsy in,
the rain kneels upon the land
and the weather knocks them back
a whole day and a half."
Colum McCann

If wishes were fishes we'd all swim in riches.

The most affectionate creature in the world is a wet dog.
Always.

"Do you have the patience to wait
until your mud settles and the water is clear?"
Lao Tzu

Silence is a source of great strength.

I am all the ages I've ever been.
Anne Lamott

"Life's a great balancing act.
So be sure when you step,
Step with care and great tact."
Dr. Seuss

"The simple things come back to us.
They rest for a moment by our ribcages
then suddenly reach in and twist
our hearts a notch backward."
Colum McCann

Great things are done by a series of small things
brought together
and shared by all
and allow each of us to feel in our own way.

Thanks for being here.
May all your wishes come true.
take good care of you
