What's Going to Happen Next

I'm posting to City Daily Photo as we find out what happens next by following the Yellow Brick Road.

 I ask you, if given the chance wouldn't everyone follow the Yellow Brick Road?

I know I would and have, as for me the world of Oz arrived early in my childhood long ago, and with the continued love of all things related to The Wizard of Oz it continued in my life with the desire and encouragement of my daughter.

Lyman Frank Baum (American author known for writing children's books) born in Chittenago, NY in 1856 and died in Los Angeles, CA in 1919.

After he wrote the Wizard of Oz in 1900 after long after his death Oz came to life in North Carolina.

Judy Garland starred as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, and is where my magical adventure into the Land of Oz and how to beware of incoming tornadoes began. These ruby slippers are key to everything, and the original ruby slippers were placed here in  Grand Rapids, Minnesota Judy's birthplace and are located in The Judy Garland Museum. Those slippers have continued to play key roles in life long after the film was created and sadly were stolen from this museum but thankfully the F.B.I. tracked them down.

I've posted about this place years ago, and yes I'm still interested in all things related to the Land of Oz still, and just this morning one of my favorite radio personalities after her recent visit there brought to life through the imagination of L. Frank Baum's creation of  The Wizard of Oz Theme Park it was originally built in 1970, but in truth fell prey to some cruel individuals that after a year they started a fire and destroyed much of it, and many of the original costumes were stolen. 

Today, 2021 it's open on the weekends in September and also private tours are offered.

This is Dorothy's house that in the story was located in Kansas

and it's here waiting for your visit.

They have successfully created the aftermath of the tornado that swept through Kansas that day and sent Dorothy and her dog Toto to the Land of Oz.
