In The Eye of A Cat on Saturday Critters

Good morning all and welcome to another

SATURDAY'S CRITTERS

 and City Daily Photo posting.

I open this with a photo from my relaxing day last Tuesday in charming and quaint Northfield, I've brought you here before. I'll post more from that day this week as I wandered through the most incredible peaceful pathways carved out of an empty prairie and decorated with not just nature's gifts but some incredible artwork as well and my first visit there. Trust me there will be more visits there.

There's something alive in this moment as reflections glisten across the water, peacefully unfolding from a bathing by nature's finest gifts, waiting just for us.
Karen Sather

and there will be lots of silent judging happening in these next photos.

Thoughts in Sparkle's head:
If I sit here real quiet and pretty maybe they won't notice me and feel forced to add more things to my body for this thing they call "Halloween" as quite frankly they are all a bit weird looking today. Look at the dog.

"I mean what is Artemis trying to prove here?" Questions Sparkle.

Sparkle attempting the cat-strut-stealthily-hoping-to go unnoticed.

and of course Lou-Lou was all upset because nobody bothered to dress her for Halloween.

Wait!

Until they did! Careful what you wish for.

Emphasis on really? has reached a new meaning with this expression!

The occasional resistance and dramatic pause is often so cat material.

In a cat's eye all things belong to cats.

Always, and forever.

Self-reflection is the School of Wisdom

Baltasar Gracian

"A cat has absolute emotional honesty: human beings, for one reason or another, may hide their feelings, but a cat does not."

Ernest Hemingway

"Cats have it all - admiration, an endless sleep, and company only when they want it."

Rod McKuen

To be loved by a cat is rewarding beyond words. Try it sometime.

It applies to the love from a dog as well, never forget that.

WooHoo an extra hour of sleep tonight.

Remember here in the United States we are turning our clocks back one hour tonight for
Daylight Savings time.

Keep Calm and Carrot On

Rusty offers this good thought that too often we forget to apply.

"Practice the pause. Pause before judging. Pause before assuming. Pause before accusing. Pause whenever you're about to react harshly and you'll avoid doing and saying things you'll later regret."
Lori Deschene

Thank you so much for stopping by.
Your comments are so special to me.

Enjoy your weekend and the autumn-like weather
as we all know around these parts what lies ahead for us.

Take good care of you and stay safe.

Hello,
Looks like the furbabies had a happy Halloween, cute costumes. The cats do have a good life, but dogs can not complain. I love the shot of Rusty with the carrot. Practice the pause, that is a good idea. Wonderful cute photos and quotes. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, have a great weekend. PS, I appreciate your comment, link and visit.
