What Matters to You and Critters

Good morning!

I'm posting to

 SATURDAY CRITTERS

and Daily City Photo

Today my post is all about,

Making moments matter, every single day but

What Matters Most to You right now?

"What matters to you defines your mattering." John Green

"All that is important is this one moment in movement. Make the moment important, vital, and worth living. Do not let it slip away unnoticed and unused."

Martha Graham

Kissable face.

"Books are ultimate Dumpees: put them down and they'll wait for you forever; pay attention to them and they always love you back."

 John Green

Animals are just like that. They'll always be there waiting for your return and attention and they always, always love you back.

"Dogs are our link to paradise. They don't know evil or jealousy or discontent. To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring, it was peace." Milan Kundera

"It is a happiness to wonder; it is a happiness to dream."
Edgar Allan Poe

If it's horrible outside find the sunshine inside.
This is true in nature and within us.

"The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses
 to grow sharper."
W. B. Yeats

".... every sight and sound inspiring, leading one far out of himself, yet feeding and building up his individuality." From Wilderness Essays John Muir the author.

I'm counting the days, moments actually seconds until I can roam the city streets in search of photos like this one.

"The clearest way out of this winter mess is for spring to arrive quickly.

Step, by step she inches closer and before....

Sparkle that mouse appears real,

until we notice the little red Santa cap.

Perkiness
matters while anticipating the next treat.

Hello sweet table squatter!

Our thoughts these days is, and most common quote.
"I'm so over this!"

"When one tugs at a single thing in nature, he finds it attached to the rest of the world."
John Muir

"Forever is composed of nows." Emily Dickinson

Thanks for sharing time with me here and posting your thoughts.

Take good care of you.

I love your critter photos and appreciate these beautiful quotes. I'll write some of them in my journal today. We all get discouraged and it's nice to read these quotes for encouragement!

How I love your critters. And ours. Mind you, our cats do know jealousy. The very best lap is the one that someone else is sitting in.
'If it's horrible outside find the sunshine inside.
This is true in nature and within us.' Total truth there.
Thank you.

It is good to see that the peacock is still keeping you company. I have a wonderful pic of me sitting on a hill with my dog who has now gone but just looking at the shot takes me back there. It was special.
