The Secret Life of Critters

Good morning, everyone and welcome to another post for

 SATURDAY CRITTER'S

and I'm also posting to City Daily Photo

Please follow me as I flip through the secret lives of flapping scarecrows of humanity to the rags and riches of dressed-up animals to the wags of love that dogs feel every day.

Three Wise Scarecrows!

A Scarecrow's purpose is to protect and not frighten.

Be a scarecrow of dreams, guarding the seeds of your aspirations from doubt and fear."

You haven't really felt the deep meaning of friendship until you've felt the love of a dog, or cat or any other animal.

My daughter shared some love with photos of Mac and Athena.

One of the deep secrets to life is that all that is really worth doing is what we do for others.
Lewis Carroll

Meet Mac and Athena born from the same parents but different litters, and after a whirlwind of play it's time to relax and have comfort.
Dogs know how to live and enjoy life right?

Why dogs bond with other dogs; they share a common language, and communicate through their body language, scent marking and vocalizations, and because they love to play, it makes playtime an essential part of their life. Like humans play teaches us social skills, motor skills and coordination. Besides feeling safe and secure, they thrive on companionship. Dog is man's best friend.
Dogs are mostly social pack animals thriving off of attention and affection pretty much like most humans.

"I know who I was when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then."
Lewis Carroll

The joy of living is making little things big.

Some days are meant for play. So, what play do you have in store for today?

Go barefoot in wet sand!

"The world is a coaxing whisper when the wind lips the trees, when the sea licks the shore, when animals burrow into earth and people look up at the sympathetic stars. The world is an admonishing roar when gales chase rainclouds over the plains and whip up ocean waves, when people crowd into cities or intrude into dazzling jungles." Jay Woodman
