Day Brighteners and critters

Welcome to
and I'm posting to City Daily Photo

"To live is the rarest thing in the world.
Most people exist that is all."
Oscar Wilde

Yesterday, was incredibly packed no time to blog and so today I begin posting some of my adventures from a place looking over to the next place on my day's list.  (Minnesotans should know where I am going) Mind you it was sunny and a brisk wind all day long, still folks ventured to soak up everything at our footsteps.

Of course, if possible, humans brought their devoted pals.

The next photos are across from my starting point. Any guesses?

Choose joy!

Take a good look around you.

Yes, you can ask any owl.

The beauty of this place will magnify once summer arrives.

Keep seeking the light.

My favorite musical dog still pleasing for us all.

Meet Jake on Bass by artist Scott Schlag

Thank goodness I took a lot of pictures of this incredibly smart

Humpty-Dumpty because he doesn't sit here any longer.

Where did he go?

"Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that."

Martin Luther King Jr.

Huge hint here!

Have your tried to create something with junk that's waiting around for something to do?

"Music was my refuge. I could crawl into the space between the notes and curl my back to loneliness."

Maya Angelou

Lately I've also learned the importance of silence.

"Success is liking yourself, liking what you do, and liking how you do it."

Maya Angelou

Revel in your day. Or become obsolete.

"How ever long the night the dawn will break."

I trust you know where we are.

Most of us aren't twenty anymore, so. . .

Live with a worthy mission in life, not to merely survive, but to thrive filling your days with passion (of even the tiniest ant hoping and working to survive each day) living with compassion seasoned with humor and don't forget style. Be you.

Did you guess Red Wing?

Truly. This. Sometimes it's not about the happy ending.

Maybe it's about the story. What do you think?

Say good-bye for now Scarecrow

until next time.

Thank you for stopping and commenting

and take good care of you!

Remember,

It's the littlest of things that matter.

Thanks for visiting and your comment and I was mostly in Red Wing, Minnesota I haven' spent the day there for some time now, and some things were still closed as the road up there is steep and gets incredibly snowy. Soon, and I'll be there. Eileen, I hope you have a great week ahead take care.

Glad to see the jester is back. I guess he's been back for awhile. I dont know about Humpty Dumpty...Redwing along with Hastings and any river town I would have to call a favorite. How many favorite towns can a person have ?
I guess the company you have while visiting them makes them so special.
Thanks Karen for the quotes, the photos......thank you for it all.
Things are greening up, spring has to get soon now. .....enjoy all of it.

Beautiful pictures. The park with sculptures remind me to wonderland, funny and mad.

I think you'd find it quite interesting and we have so much to offer especially with having four seasons!

They always have an excellent selection of sculptures and often switch them out with other artist's work. Always something to see.

Taking pictures is my big thing and it's so cool when you look at the photos later and see things you didn't realize you caught! That's extra fun!

Thank you so much! Enjoy your week.

They certainly are! Even during the summer if it's too hot for some pups!

I agree you really can't have too many favorite places, the more the better right. Things are greening up and buds, tulips, etc. are beginning to come to life, and far more birds everywhere! Hooray for that! Thank you so much for stopping and commenting! Enjoy a cooler weekend, I think.
