Charleston SC and Did Someone Mention Pirates?

Exploring different cities even for a second time offers a deeper look into the city. Tasting their foods and dipping into their cultures is always an exciting adventure for me, discovering new things and tastes.

One of my most favorite things to do, not just here in Charleston, but also Savannah, Georgia are the quaint, mostly private and yet so many visible secret little gardens, pathways and alleyways to those roaming by.  Of course there is a private garden tour I have yet to take, so I know I'll need to return again sometime.

Not only are new miracles blooming everywhere you go, but there are also amazing vehicles and sometimes odd, (a town of makeshift vehicles and golf carts all around.

The Gibbs Museum Charleston

Happy Earth Day with Critters

Wishing everyone a Happy Earth Day and that you have sunshine and can celebrate it with gusto. Here in Minnesota we can't really celebrate earth day by planting any trees, shrubs or flowers during this wintry mix point in our weather.

My Favorite Toy is pretty much the same now in my adult life as it was as a child. Animals, living and not, in Lego forms to ceramic and (if only I had a picture of my huge stuffed animal collection from childhood) to me they are here to love, frolic with and enjoy their company.
