Winter Moments Going Quickly

Welcome everyone, I'm posting a few "Winter Moments" for  City Daily Photo, I'm so incredibly excited that we're another step closer to spring, by springing our clocks forward one hour for daylight savings time this weekend.

Spring, I'm ready how about you?

Walker Sculpture Garden Minneapolis

"Develop an interest in life as you see it; the people, things, literature, music,
the world is so rich, simply throbbing with rich treasures, beautiful souls, and interesting people. Forget yourself." Henry Miller

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.

"The moment one gives close attention to anything,
even a blade of grass, it becomes a mysterious, awesome, indescribably magnificent world in itself." Henry Miller

Judith Shea

Without Words

"Go within every day and find the inner strength
so that the world will not blow your candle out."
Katherine Dunham

I actually went to see these snow sculptures more than a month ago and the last time I went there they were history, and only one ice sculpture remained.

"The world isn't always as we see it."

"One's destination is never a place, but rather a new way of looking at things."
Henry Miller

"To be silent the whole day long, see no newspaper, hear no radio, listen to no gossip,
be thoroughly and completely lazy, thoroughly and completely indifferent to the fate of the world is the finest medicine a man can give himself." Henry Miller

"Everyone must believe in something. I believe I'll go canoeing."
Henry David Thoreau

"You gotta try your luck at least once a day,
because you could be going around lucky all day
and not even know it." Jimmy Dean

May you all gather your winter moments and adventures
 before they slip away.

The snow sculptures are amazing! I am looking for ward to spring!
The clocks go forward this weekend not backwards so we lose an hour's sleep but it will be brighter in the evening which is wonderful.
