Welcome to a (short) catch up of what's been happening in my world this summer. It's all about making the most that we can of all the fairs, festivals, day trips, weekend trips, concerts, hiking, picnics, graduations and whatnots that we all celebrate before mother nature brings a wintry mix.
In the Summertime
Take time to not just see but feel simple pleasures. Don't allow seemingly insignificant moments happen your way without noticing. By doing this you will uncover a wealth of beauty and depth of knowledge that surprises you.

"Art is what gets us beyond what is real. It makes reality more real. It also shortens the distance we have to travel to see how connected we are."

"It's the simple things in your life that make up the bulk of it. The mundane is where we live, and we end up missing most of it. We find it again in the silence and in the attention of everyday life."

Thank you dear. You are a true friend. Aloha
Hello,
Sounds like you are busy having fun, the summer is flying by. Ice cream is my favorite treat. I like the art work on the arch. Hand feeding the critters is fun for all ages. I have so many simple pleasures, listening to the birds is one. Take care, have a great day and week ahead.
Enjoying summer is the thing for all us northeners. Love that carved owl, Karen.
